Out-of-court guide – a tool for reducing the workload of courts
As part of the European Social Fund project “Justice for Development,” the Court Administration has developed a free online tool for automated legal consultations in civil law – the Out-of-court Guide. It is intended to relieve the burden on the courts so that litigants do not have to go to court at all or, if it is really necessary, are properly prepared for the commencement of proceedings.
Thus, this guide helps a person facing a legal problem to understand both its nature and possible solutions, providing maximum informational support. However, it should be noted that the guide is of a recommendatory nature and the use of this tool does not result in a specific automated decision on the resolution of a dispute or problem. It is still a consultation, and relevant specialists, including judges, lawyers, and lawyers from specific fields, have been involved in developing its content.
The guide has been prepared in accordance with the legal regulations in force at the time of updating the relevant scenario.
Scenarios available in the Out-of-Court Guide:
Family law issues:
- Divorce (updated: March 2021)
- Division of marital property in the event of divorce (updated: December 2020)
- Recovery of maintenance (updated: January 2021)
- Access rights (updated: April 2021)
Money recovery issues:
- Recovery of money (over EUR 2,500) (updated: October 2020)
- Recovery of money in simplified proceedings (up to EUR 2,500) (updated: October 2020)
